Section 17
Provisions on Executive Directors

(1) There shall be an Executive Director to act as the Administrative Head of the Foundation.
(2) Those holding the position of Supreme Court Judge, holding the position of Chief Justice or Judge of the Court of Appeal, having worked in the position of Judge of the Supreme Court or Chief Judge or Judge of the Court of Appeal or among the persons who are qualified to be the Judge of the Court of Appeal who are competent in management, research and training. On the recommendation of the Judicial Council, the Chief Justice may appoint or appoint the Executive Director.
(3) The term of office of the Executive Director shall be four years at most and if his performance is satisfactory, he may be appointed or reappointed for one term. However, the incumbent judge assigned to the position of executive director may be returned to work as a judge upon the recommendation of the Judicial Council before his term of office is completed.
(4) Remuneration and other terms and conditions of service and facilities of the executive director shall be as prescribed.
